How do I import my PractiScore results?

To import from PractiScore:

  1. Open PractiScore and go to your match
  2. Export the match as a .psc file
  3. Share/send the file to your device
  4. Open Match Metrics and tap Import
  5. Select the .psc file to import

The app will automatically match shooters and import all stage times.

What disciplines does Match Metrics support?

Match Metrics fully supports:

  • SCSA (Steel Challenge Shooting Association) - All 8 official stages including Smoke & Hope, Showdown, Five to Go, Pendulum, Speed Option, Outer Limits, Accelerator, and Roundabout
  • SASP (Scholastic Action Shooting Program) - Rimfire Rifle, Rimfire Pistol, and all competition divisions
Is my data backed up?

Your Match Metrics data is stored locally on your device. If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, your app data will be included in your device backups.

We recommend keeping regular device backups to protect your shooting history.

How do I track multiple shooters?

With the Coaching Tools upgrade, you can:

  • Add multiple shooter profiles
  • Import match data for your entire team
  • Build and manage squads
  • Compare performance between shooters
  • Track team records

This is perfect for coaches, parents managing multiple young shooters, or anyone tracking a team.

How do I restore my purchases on a new device?

To restore your purchases:

  1. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase
  2. Open Match Metrics
  3. Go to Settings
  4. Tap "Restore Purchases"

Your subscription or one-time purchases will be restored automatically.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple. To cancel:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone/iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Find Match Metrics and tap it
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.

Can I use Match Metrics offline?

Yes! Match Metrics works fully offline. All your data is stored locally on your device, so you can:

  • Record times at the range without cell service
  • View your match history anywhere
  • Analyze your performance offline

An internet connection is only needed for initial app download, updates, and purchases.

What do the national records show?

The National Records feature (available with Coaching Tools) shows official national records for SASP disciplines, broken down by:

  • Division (Open, Limited, etc.)
  • Classification
  • Stage

This lets you compare your times against the best in the country and set meaningful goals.
